A Deep Look into the #JoinTheLEVolution Trading Competition

Thank you all for participating in the #JoinTheLEVolution Trading Competition which lasted 2 months from March 1st to April 30th.
Let’s take a deep look into it now that the team has calculated and reconciled the results!
1. Trading Statistics
Overall, 65 traders took part in the competition and made 39,272 trades (19636 each on maker and taker side) with a total notional volume of $254,103,567 ($254M).🔥
The number of trades made on each instrument are as follows:
- BTCUSD (DAI) — 2,772 trades
- ETHUSD (DAI) — 3,534 trades
- BTCUSD (USDT) — 5,550 trades
- ETHUSD (USDT) — 6,022 trades
- DEFIUSD — 21,394 trades
It seems that traders prefer USDT to DAI as an underlying asset. Out of the three USDT perpetuals, DEFIUSD (USDT) appears to be the most popular instrument, followed by ETHUSD (USDT) and BTCUSD (USDT).
Besides, ETHUSD is more often traded than BTCUSD during the competition period. This might be because ETH price was more volatile over the past few weeks. 📈
2. Prizes
There are 3 categories of the prize for this competition:
- Top 5 PnL
- Top 5 ROI
- Top 2 Most Active Traders

As you may have noticed, the Top ROI winner ranks 5th as the PnL winner — you don’t have to cost much to gain high ROI as long as you used the right trading tactics!🚀
As per the rules of the competition, a trader is considered active when he or she trades at least 50 times a week. That means a total of at least 450 trades over the 9 weeks of the period. Very few out of 65 traders qualified under this criteria. Among those who did, we ranked them by profit per trade to determine the most successful active traders.
While the trader with account ****27bC didn’t qualify under the category of most successful traders because he or she barely had 37 trades, but this trader had a mind blowing profit per trade of over $1000! 🔥
The prizes will be dropped into your Gluon Accounts later this week.
